A • Sweater - a twisted arm evolved from a pattern we found in a DIY sewing magazine from the 80’s. Can you tell? Even in the 21st century this sweater is perfect for cold summer nights or a warm winter feeling.
 
It has the classic cropped, boxy shape and 3/4 sleeves. In the back you see a horizontal seam that goes all the way to the hem of the sleeves, based on the original. We gave the seam a modern update by making it twist around to the front. The hems on the sleeves themselves are partly ruffled with elastic, also only visible from behind.
 
The original pattern had a boat neck, but we gave it a more round shape. The collar has a subtle triangle shape in the front, referring to the less-than-subtle iconic triangles you find on regular sweatshirts.
 
This model also gives us the opportunity to play around with patterned fabrics, if you’re in for a nice surprise.
