shipping and returns

1. Delivery time

Every product in the shop is labeled as ‘In stock’ or ‘made by order’, the latter meaning we will only produce it after you place your order. For 'made by order', please keep in mind an average delivery time of 2-3 weeks.

 

When the items are in stock or if the 'made by order' items are ready for delivery, the following shipping rates and shipping times apply:

2. Shipping rates

Depending on your location, we ship our products using PostNL. For customers in the Netherlands it's also possible to ship your order directly to a service point. Once we've shipped your order, you'll receive a notification that includes a tracking link. For customers in Rotterdam it’s possible to pick up your order at our studio near Centraal.

Zone 1: The Netherlands
Shipping Time: 3-5 business days
Cost: €5 (free on orders over 150 euro)

Zone 2: Western Europe
Shipping: 7-10 business days
Cost: €10 (free on orders over 295 euro)

 

Zone 2: Rest of the world!

Shipping: 15-30 business days

Cost: €25 

Please note: Import duties and taxes might apply on your international order. In addition, some orders may experience customs delays. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges or delays and cannot predict what they may be. We suggest that you contact your local customs office for additional information.

Zone 1: The Netherlands

Zone 2: Western Europe Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom.

Zone 3: Rest of the world :), please contact us if you would like to order from a country that is not part of zone 2 or 3.

 

2.2  In-Studio Pickup

We offer In-Studio Pickup as an option for our local (Rotterdam-based) customers. Simply select In-Studio Pickup at Checkout and we will send you an email when it’s ready. Bring a copy of your order to the studio to pick up your order.

3. Returns

We strive to deliver the best possible products. If, however, you are unsatisfied with your order please read the below instructions carefully so we can take the necessary steps towards the perfect solution.

Please contact A Brandsma before returning any item by sending an email to

a-mail@a-brandsma.com with the following information:

  • the product(s) you wish to return

  • the reason for the return

  • the order number of your order

  • your bank account number

 

Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable. Items must be returned in their original condition (unworn, unwashed, unaltered) with the tags attached and spare buttons included.

 

You may return the items postmarked within 14 calendar days of receipt. Please don’t send it back yourself without contacting us first. Shipments do not include a return label. After you contact us, will send you a printable return label with our address. Shipping costs for returns are on us. We will refund you these afterwards. Please check the FAQ for specific conditions around your return.

 

We will complete your return once the parcel has arrived at our address. The estimated turnaround time is 14 days from the day that we receive the returned goods.

 

If you are in Rotterdam, you can also drop your return order off at our studio. Contact us via a-mail@a-brandsma.com to make sure we are home.


3.1 Returning A Package
If a returned item is shipped international, please clearly mark the package 'RETURNED GOODS', to avoid any Customs charges. A  Brandsma is NOT responsible for any return Customs charges made. Any charges incurred are the responsibility of the customer.

3.2 Unclaimed Packages
For packages that are not cashed at your post office within 14 days, A Brandsma reserves the right to charge you a handling fee to cover return shipping and freight companies' administrative costs.

 


4. Anything wrong? Please let us know

We try our best to ship everything in perfect shape and condition. However sometimes a mistake slips in. If you experience any issues with your purchase, please let us know and we will do our best to solve this for you. You can find more information in our FAQ.
